Hello, I'm Kwaku Ayesu!
I’m a Human–Computer Interaction (HCI) researcher and product designer with a strong foundation in interaction design and a passion for creating products that are both human-centered and business-driven. My work sits at the intersection of research, design, and strategy, where I translate complex data into meaningful insights that guide product direction, enhance usability, and elevate user experience.
I specialize in conducting and synthesizing qualitative behavioral and quantitative, research, employing methods such as interviews, surveys, usability testing, and A/B testing to uncover actionable insights. My approach integrates generative, formative, and evaluative research, including contextual inquiry, ethnographic studies, experimental design, and persona development. I distill findings into compelling narratives and strategic recommendations, aligning user needs with organizational goals to deliver both customer and commercial value. I excel at communicating findings to diverse audiences—from design teams to senior leadership—helping align vision, strategy, and execution.
In addition to research, I’m skilled in rapid prototyping and interaction design using tools like Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud, supporting iterative, evidence-based design processes.
I’m critical thinker with a product mindset bringing clarity to complex problems and simplicity through design. I’m continuously exploring ways to innovate research methodologies, integrate data analytics and machine learning, and champion ethical, user-centered design practices that drive meaningful impact.
